A member of Fosseway Seniors Golf Club with over fifty years playing experience has begun free coaching for adults who are interested in giving golf a try.
Recently, two retired people wishing to play as a new hobby in their spare time attended the golf club and were introduced to member, Gerry Rowell. Fellow members rallied round to find golf bags and a set of free starter clubs, and after several weeks of patient coaching, they have joined the club as full joint members and are looking forward to the life of golf that the rest of the club’s members experience.
Gerry, who has also helped train people before in Bristol, said: “I’m willing to coach anyone interested in taking up the sport and joining our fantastic golf club.
