Mendip’s course, despite the continuing wet conditions, is holding up very well and the tee times are well filled every day.

Ninety two men competed in the Pro Shop Bowmaker event which saw a couple of mixed teams at the top of the leaderboard.

In fourth place with 82 points were Geoff Collard/Nick Cox/Stefan and David Golledge beaten by a single point by David Graham/Duncan Soper/Stephen Hodson/Ian Hall. In second place came Tony Logan/Keith Gadsden/Suzy Rudkin/Jinhee Page with 85 points leaving the winners as Louise and Tony Scott partnered by Alan and Pauline Williams with 86 points.

Nearest the Pin this week went to Tony Taylor.

The Ladies of Mendip held a 9 hole Bowmaker with 44 entrants. Winning on count back with 33 points were ladies Captain Elect Allison Rumming/Caroline Simper/Wendy Norman/Eileen Masters leaving the team of Lynn Cox/Jenny Merrett/Edwina Willis/Jo Espley in second place. Another count back separated the third and fourth teams with Gina Howard/Bron Cooper/Jan Fukuyama/Pauline Williams just gaining the third place. T Williams
