Simon Kjaer is probably a name that will not mean much to many of us. However, Danish footballer and former Spurs star, Christian Eriksen, will be forever in his debt.

Kjaer’s quick-thinking action very likely saved the life of Eriksen when he suffered an on field cardiac arrest only a few days into the start of Euro 2020. Thankfully Eriksen was released from hospital four days later after having an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) fitted.
