The first team prize went to Loes de Kleuver, Jackie Pudney and Michele Fairweather with 73 points, while in second, also with 73 points, were Audrey Holland, Christine Arnold and Veronica Cherry and with 72 points, Anne Carpenter, Liz South and Ann James were third.

The Orchardleigh Ladies have done well so far in this season’s matches. Although in the Bristol and District Alliance League they were thrashed by Burnham & Berrow away, losing 2/12, they got their revenge at the home match, winning 12/2. They won away to Saltford (8/6) and at home to Tracey Park (9/5). In the Somerset Interclub League, the Orchardliegh Ladies have won four of their five matches, winning both home and away to Cricket St Thomas, 5.5/1.5. The home matches against Minehead (4/3) and Wells (5/2) were both won, but we lost the away match at Tall Pines (2/5).
