The first of this year’s Captain’s Roll-ups took place despite a weather forecast that may have deterred the less hardy.
In fact, the event took place without any rain and the Club Captain, Stuart Mann, was pleased with the turnout. He was glad to see new members taking part, too.
The competition was a Bowmaker, and this was won with a high score of 79 points by a team consisting of the Juniors’ Captain, Tom Roberts, the immediate past Club Captain, Erica Klim and a Ladies’ Past Captain, Jill Bocquet.
Runners-up, with 72 points, were Mike Gee, Roy Elliott and Grant Rogers.
