It is hard to believe that twelve months have passed since Senior Golfer, Bill Sims, passed away. Following a short illness, Bill lost his fight for life on 14th February 2019.

With the world in trying to come to terms with the coronavirus, a reduced field of golfers took to the fairways to play for the trophy. Thirteen holes provided sufficient reason for those wishing to remember Bill in the appropriate manner.

Scoring was extremely competitive, with the countback system employed to separate the top three players in the frame for the Champion Golfer. Alan Smith, currently playing off a handicap of 24, was presented with the trophy after a back nine of 23 points. Enjoy it Alan, the handicap secretary has your card marked – literally!
