The Men held their Captain’s Trophy event with fifty pairs competing. Scoring was very competitive, with the majority of the field beating par in this 4BBB event. Morris.

The Mendip Seniors event, the Centenary Trophy, attracted an entry of 62 competitors. Scoring proved tricky for all but a handful. However, at the top of the leader board, in third place after a four-way tie came Paul Smith, with 35 points. Winning, again after countback, with 36 points, came Alan Edwards, just beating Brian Smith, with both of them making birdie on the last hole.
