Wells Ladies weekly roll up was played as a Stableford team of three Bowmaker. The conditions were still and dry. The winners were Janice White, Kathy Lane and Marilyn Cole. As always, the round of golf was followed by a get together over coffee and food in the clubhouse. Terry Williams, the professional at Wells Golf Club, gave an extremely interesting and fun talk on ‘The Mental Side of Golf’ to the ladies section. Topics ranged from the 24 hours prior to playing to giving yourself points for achieving certain targets during the round. There was much discussion and note taking. Wells Ladies are now approaching their next round of golf with a coping plan and renewed hope!

Most of the mens’ winter competitions are reaching the semi-final stage in the next few weeks and we will be giving you the results as they come in.

This coming weekend the Captains’ Drive In takes place at the club on Sunday at 10am.
