There were no formal competitions this week at Wells Golf Club, but plenty of golf in ideal conditions.
Jock McKinven took advantage of the conditions and achieved his second hole-in-one this year, this time on the 10th hole, which is a tricky, narrow approach on a slope.
In the same game, Gary Nutt had an eagle-two on the 16th hole, and Ian Nicol played a superb eagle on the par-five 13th hole. Long may the excellent scoring continue! Janice White
