The Ladies’ Annual Dinner brought everyone out to enjoy a sociable evening, with delicious food served by Alan and his team. The after-dinner quiz was tricky and got people thinking, especially in the music round!
The winning quiz team were Mary Harrison, Gill Magrath, Silvia Gibbon, Patty Jervis and Jan Hayward.
The winner of the Ladies’ England Medal was announced, with Ladies’ Captain, Cath Levell, going forward to represent the club later this year.
The Ladies’ Christmas Stableford winners were also announced as Jill Bocquet in the Silver Division and Janice White in the Bronze Division. The competition was run over a fortnight, though the weather made it challenging.
With rain, hail and sleet falling outside, the indoor simulator has been in full swing, with Prairie Dunes being quite a favourite course. The simulator is open to anyone and offers a chance to practice in comfortable surroundings.
