Erica’s year as Captain was blighted by lockdowns and cancelled events early on. The summer saw a full schedule, including a Ladies’ Captain Day with cream tea and a well attended Ladies Open. All the Wells ladies thank Erica for her hard work and leadership over the year. Katrina has some talks on golf and away days arranged as part of her year, as well as the usual competitions. We wish Katrina a successful year.

On Saturday the annual Mens’ 2 Man Texas Scramble took place in fiercely stormy conditions with very strong swirling winds and some sleet.

The scoring was excellent in spite of these conditions and the results are as follows;

First - Darren Barnett & Duncan Bratt - net 64 c/b.

Second - John Baker & Michael Vincent - net 64 c/b.

Third - Andy Hamilton & Deshan O’Connell - net 65.
