On Thursday, an invigorating afternoon’s play at home in the G.O. competition, where despite a spirited defence, we lost to a stalwart Norwest team on four out of the five rinks. Congratulations to the opposition. Some of our players from this game went on to play at home against Prattens in the Men’s Top Club competition in the evening, where we won on all rinks. We are now looking forward to playing Yatton in the next round.

On Friday evening, we played a hard fought match in the Men’s County Fours against a strong Norwest team, losing 25 to 9.

Finally on Saturday, playing away at Keynsham in the County League we won overall and on two of the three rinks giving us a welcome 10 points.

The next match will be our first MSL of the season at home against Norwest on Wednesday evening. Good luck to both the men and ladies away against Castle Cary on Thursday. A.J. Meaton
