Paulton Bowls Club: Wednesday’s Mid Somerset League match at home against Norwest resulted in an overall loss, despite a good win on one rink.

On Thursday the Ladies away at Purnells, despite a spirited defence and close finish on one rink, eventually lost overall.

On Saturday afternoon the men played at home against Norwest B team in the County League, winning on one rink, drawing on one and losing on the third giving Paulton 9 points to 3 and taking us towards the top of the table.

Sunday, a friendly (again at home) saw us against Box in good humoured games played in the right spirit. 

The weather held despite the forecast warnings, a great afternoon was had by all concerned.

This coming Tuesday sees the Ladies away at Frome Park and the MSL on Wednesday is at home against Prattens.
