Radstock’s Ross Whittock, co-driver to Jamie Anderson, finished a credible ninth overall on Round Three of the British Rally Championship. The Pirelli rally, based in Carlisle, uses the famous forests of Kielder.

Driving the Fiesta R5 using Michelin tyres, the crew battled with the best crews from both the UK and Europe to finish this two-day event, of which 75 miles of special stages were all in the forest.

The event was won by Swedish driver, Fredrik Ahlin, with Mathew Wilson second and third was World Rally contender, Elfyn Evans.

After Round Three, Ross is ninth in the Championship for Co-drivers. This rally can be seen on both BT Sports and Channel 4.
