MIDSOMER NORTON 2nds 10 GORDANO 20
Norton slumped to their first defeat since the opening day of the season, thanks to a second half comeback from Gordano.
The Seconds had the better of the first half, and held a ten-point lead going into the break.
The Norton pack were edging the early exchanges and took the lead after a spell of pressure when Scott Anderson pounced on a loose ball. Fuller then added to his impressive try tally for the season, doubling the lead from close range.
However, as Gordano changed things up in the second half, Norton slipped away from the game. The momentum had changed and the away side pounced on a loose ball to cut the deficit early in the second half, before adding another soon after to take the lead.
An increasingly frustrated Norton side missed a penalty to regain the lead, before Gordano took the game out of their hands with a penalty and a late try.
