The first round gala of the Winter Series, held at Bridgwater, produced some very good swims for Norton Radstock Swimming Club, with Jamima Green, Alice Harvey and Sam Jordan making their debut for the team.

The relay teams really stood out. Both the girls and boys 11/u and 13/u age groups and the 15/u girls were unbeaten on the night in their freestyle and medley relays. The open boy's freestyle team also put in fantastic swims to come out victorious in a very close race.

There were also thirteen further personal best times set on the night – Nathan Dicks, in the 11/u boys 25m Backstroke, Morgan Lovell, in the 11/u boys 25m Breaststroke, and Archie Isherwood, in the 11/u boys 25m Butterfly, Zac Keeling, in the boy's 13/u 50m Freestyle and then again beating that time in the boy's 15/u age group, Andrew Mateer, in the boy's 15/u 50m Backstroke and 50m Butterfly, Liam Willcox, in the boy's Open 50m Breaststroke. For the girls, Leila Hamilton-Pitt, in the 11/u 25m Freestyle, Evie-Rose Young, in the 11/u 25m Butterfly and 25m Breaststroke, Georgia Boulton, in the 13/u 50m Breaststroke, and Hannah Angell, in the 15/u 50m Backstroke.

Thank you to all the volunteer officials and poolside helpers for organisation and team support. Also, thank you to Alfie Boulton and Eve Jordan who came along as reserves.
