Tomahawks hosted Gems this Saturday in the final game of the season, both teams were looking to finish with a win.
The game started quick with both teams creating plenty of chances, but Tomahawks defence of Kristie and Kirsty managed to turnover some loose balls and the quarter ended 12–9 to Hawks.
The second quarter saw some great mid-court play from Darby and Jade, the game was very end to end, but half time come and Hawks were four up.
The second half started rocky for Hawks as Gems brought it back level, Hawks managed to find another gear and with some great interceptions from Victoria, they picked things back up to maintain the four goal lead going into the last quarter.
Hawks continued their fast play into the final quarter and with some great shooting from Vina and Cheryl, the game ended 44–40 to Hawks.
