Avon and Somerset Police are advising motorists to look for alternative routes due to a road closure following a serious accident in Frome.
Rodden Road, Frome, is currently closed as emergency services are at the scene of a serious collision.
The police took to 'X' to say: 'Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious collision on Rodden Rd in Frome. 'The road is currently closed and motorists are advised to use alternative routes. Anyone who witnessed the collision, which happened at 9am, is asked to call 101 ref log 214 of today.'
A Facebook user posted: Serious accident on Rodden Road, near Beechwood Avenue, St John's Road. Road still closed.'
Another user said: 'The road is blocked for the time being and there is no access via Beechwood Avenue either.'
