Bath and North East Somerset's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A36, from midnight, December 19 2022 to 11pm November 23 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bath to Warminster used by GWR Railway Replacement Buses on Bristol Temple Meads - Frome route.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A36, from 9am October 24 to 3pm October 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Claverton to Limpley Stoke two-way signals for carriageway repair.

A36, from 9.30am to 4pm on October 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Claverton traffic lights for tree works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
