Last week’s photograph was a difficult one, and many of you, understandably, thought it could be the George Inn at Gurney Slade. It was actually taken in Wellow in 1910. A big thank you to Radstock Musuem for providing these pictures.

Well done to the three readers who guessed correctly: Margaret Barnes, Frankie Ford and Jeff Parsons. We think this week’s should be a little easier!

The Museum will not reopen fully from the beginning of July as previously announced. The current three day opening takes place until further notice: Wednesdays 2 pm – 5 pm, Saturdays 11 am – 5 pm and Sundays 2 pm – 5 pm.

The Museum shop will be open but the tearoom will remain closed.

It is hoped that the museum will resume normal opening from the beginning of August. There will be free entry to the museum in July and August.
