GOT a story to tell? Chew Valley Arts want to hear it!

Alongside a celebration day to mark the return of the Chew Valley Hoard, Valley Arts has launched ‘Treasure in Plain Sight’, a community writing competition open to all ages.

The writing brief is this: "What are the treasures in your life that might look ordinary to others, but mean everything to you?"

Entries can be in the form of a poem (up to 40 lines), a short written memory or story (up to 250 words), a mid-length piece (up to 450 words), or a longer piece (up to 900 words).

Selected winning entries will be performed by actors at the Finders Keepers performances in July.
