As we went to press on Tuesday, there were rumours circulating online and via Social Media, that world-famous band, Coldplay, had treated regulars at the Ring O'Bells, Compton Martin, to a secret gig on Monday evening this week – a very different venue to their usual sell-out stadium tours.
The pub is part-owned by the Chairman of the band's record company, Parlophone, and has previously seen both Kylie and Gabrielle Aplin perform there. As a huge fan, a press pass would have been an amazing Christmas present for this Editor! But you can't win them all.
