Tabor Independent Methodist Church

After a long absence from Tabor, it was a pleasure to welcome Mrs. Kathy Dymond to lead the most recent service. She took as her theme "What really matters in life." She was accompanied by her husband, Martin, who delivered the Bible reading from Paul’s letter to the Colossians. Mr. Alec Shute played the organ.

Anyone is welcome to join in our Church services, held fortnightly, or other events, details of which can be found on the noticeboard outside our Church on North Road.

On Sunday, August 3, we welcomed the newest member into our church family. Our Minister, Rev David Winstanley, led us around the solar system as part of his service. The New Testament reading was taken from Philippians and headed "Imitating Christ's Humility."

The usual sessions will take place during the week. Saturday coffee from 10am will be a bacon buttie morning. Sunday morning worship at 10.30am will be led by Rev. John Haynes. For more information about our Church life, please contact [email protected]

It was a pleasure to have Heather Gale lead our worship on August 3. On Wednesday, we are open again for coffee/tea and biscuits from 10:30 am for an hour. Why not come and join us? We are a friendly group and would be pleased to meet you.

On Sunday, August 10, it is our pleasure to have Bethan Foister lead our worship, with readings read by members of our congregation. On Sunday, August 17, Janet Day is visiting us. Why don't you visit us as well to join us in worship?
