Tabor Independent Methodist Church
THE Rev John Carne presided over Tabor’s 161st anniversary. He began the service by talking about events and inventions in 1865. In his address he referred to Tabor’s closure in a few weeks and likened its members to the ‘Easter People’; those who were in despair but believe that there is life after death or setback.
The Tabor Ringers played four tunes, the last one being a tribute to Wilf Bridges who was a stalwart of Tabor and former leader of the bell group.
The next service on May 10 will be led by Mrs Rosanna Blewett and will feature The Paulton Concert Band. This Service will start at 3pm.
All are welcome to any of our services or events, details of which are on the noticeboard outside of the Church in North Road Timsbury.
