Last week, a group of students and a teacher from the SAI International School in India, visited Welton Primary School and Norton Hill School as part of an exchange visit to inspire and launch an exciting collaborative project between them.

The children from Welton were particularly enthralled when the students from SAI International showcased an interesting film about life at their Indian School and later that day, learnt about Indian festivals and culture from the students.

Mr Snell, Headteacher at Welton Primary School, said: “The day was a real treat; and all involved commented on how interesting it was to learn about each other’s schools. We are now planning to make regular contact through project work and video conferencing, with the hope that we might be able to meet together again in the near future.”
