MUCH acclaimed and highly respected band, The Jamestown Brothers, will return to perform at Mardons Community Club on Saturday, March 14.

The night showcases all original songs from a band that brims with musical talent. Producing brilliantly written lyrics and superb vocal hooks, they weave together instantly catchy, anthemic tunes sure to please any lover of great music.

This is a fun departure from the usual cover bands that Mardons are known for, and follows The Jamestown Brothers' hugely popular debut at Mardons in 2025.

Mixing a variety of country, rock, and celtic styles and influences, but staying true to the storytelling roots of folk, The Jamestown Brothers are an exciting and melodic group of musicians; a perfect sound as we approach St Patrick's day on Tuesday March 17.

With a unique line-up of guitars, trumpet, keyboards, bass, drums, fiddle, recorder and saxophone, the multi-faceted band create a massive live sound matched only by their high energy, audience rockin’ stage performances.

Spinning tales of real people, highwaymen, travelling troubadours, industrial heritage and even the Irish potato famine, their songs are gritty and hard hitting, while at the same time, ear-worms that will have you singing along and perhaps taking to the dance floor.

The band commented: “We are very much excited to return to Mardons on Sat March 14. We had such a fantastic night last time we played and what a fabulous venue championing live music. A true gem!”

With several EPs and an album already under their belt, their releases are available on multiple media platforms and can also be viewed on the band’s Facebook page at facebook.com/mardonsclub ahead of the night to see some of the bands' impressive music videos.

Entry is free to all, music kicks off at 9pm but it’s advised to arrive early. New faces are always very welcome.
