RESIDENTS and visitors are invited to enjoy an afternoon of family fun when the Midsomer Norton Town Fayre returns this July.
Taking place in the Town Park, Gullock Tyning the event on July 11 promises something for everyone, celebrating the very best of Midsomer Norton’s community spirit, creativity and local talent.
The popular annual event will feature a wide range of attractions and activities, including art and craft activities, live music and performances, local food and drink, market and community stalls, school maypole dancing, town competitions, bouncy castles, games and plenty of family activities.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the Midsomer Norton Town Show and the Midsomer Arts Festival, making the day one of the highlights of the town’s summer calendar.
A spokesperson for the town council said: “Save the date! The Midsomer Norton Town Fayre is back bringing the whole community together for a fantastic summer day out.
“The Fayre brings together local organisations, businesses, community groups and residents for a day of entertainment, celebration and community engagement in the heart of the town.”
The Midsomer Norton Town Fayre is organised in partnership by Midsomer Norton Community Trust, Midsomer Norton Town Trust and Midsomer Norton Town Council.
A spokesperson for the Trust added: “This year the Town Council chose to work alongside the Trust managing the financial and some organisational aspects of the event. Many of the volunteers that have worked so hard to deliver the Fayre in recent years are continuing their amazing efforts again, booking stall holders, entertainment, attractions, activities, performances and events.”
The Midsomer Norton Town Fayre starts at 12pm until 5pm Saturday, July 11, at Town Park, Somer Centre, Midsomer Norton. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
