PUPILS at Westfield School in Radstock let their inner gladiators out after an inspired visit from UK CrossFit star Zack George.

Also known as “Steel” from the TV show Gladiators, Zack has achieved remarkable success in his sport. He was ranked 26th out of more than 126,000 athletes on the global CrossFit leaderboard, and was crowned the UK’s Fittest Man in 2020.

He shared his journey with students, highlighting how his own fitness transformation as a teenager motivated him to pursue a career helping others improve their health and wellbeing.

During his visit funded by the Westfield PTA, pupils were encouraged to build resilience, set goals and believe in their own abilities, with Zack emphasising the importance of hard work and perseverance.
