THIS term pupils from St Benedict’s Catholic Primary School transformed into Mini Police Officers.

With support of Mendip Neighbourhood Policing, the children have been learning about community safety, civic responsibility, and teamwork, all while making a real difference in their local area.

The project has given pupils a unique opportunity to understand the importance of respect and responsibility, and see first-hand how they can contribute positively to society.

Headteacher at St Benedict's Catholic Primary School, Ellen Croker, said: “We’re thrilled with the enthusiasm and dedication our pupils have shown as Mini Police.

“Beyond learning about community safety, they are growing in confidence, taking initiative, and understanding the impact they can have on the world around them. It’s wonderful to see them engaging with their community in such a meaningful way."
