THE next Chew Valley Area Forum will be taking place on November 27 at 6pm.

This will be an in-person meeting at Chew Valley School and an agenda will be circulated when it has been finalised.

At the September meeting the police presented a summary of a multi-agency meeting, discussed Community SpeedWatch and the police and council’s viewpoints on road safety.

Mark Hayward, corporate engagement officer for Bath and North East Somerset Council, said: “It is also the AGM for the forum, so we will be circulating nomination forms for the positions of chair and vice chair at the same time.”

Current chair is Cllr Heather Clewett, representing Stowey Sutton Parish Council, and vice chair is Cllr Lynne Easton, representing Chew Magna Parish Council.
