RESIDENTS are being invited to give their views on plans for 34 new affordable homes on land at Bath Old Road in Radstock.
Alliance Homes is inviting Radstock residents to a drop-in session to view and comment on proposals for 34 affordable homes on land at Bath Old Road, ahead of a planning application being submitted to Bath & North East Somerset Council.
Alliance Homes is proposing homes with a mixture of sizes for both rent and affordable home ownership (shared ownership). The proposals for Bath Old Road directly address the urgent need for affordable homes in Radstock and nearby villages, where demand significantly outstrips supply.
The plans include highly energy-efficient homes with renewable technologies and a biodiversity net gain of at least 10 per cent through enhanced green spaces and hedgerow improvements.
The public drop-in event will take place on Friday, October 3, at Whisty Hall, Walnut Buildings, Radstock, BA3 3JL from 3pm to 7pm.
Those unable to attend in person can view the proposals and share feedback online from September 26 at www.batholdroad.co.uk
Alternatively they can email [email protected], or call on 0800 130 3270. The deadline for feedback is October 10.
