Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A36, from 8am February 5 to 5pm March 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Bathampton to Beckington 24/7 multi way signals for drainage.

And a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A46, from 8pm March 18 to 6am March 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 Both Directions M4, junction 18 to Cold Ashton multi-way signals for horticulture.

A36, from 9.30am March 19 to 3.30pm March 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Bathampton to Beckington two-way signals for horticulture.

A36, from 8pm March 20 to 6am March 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Monkton Combe to Limpley Stoke convoy working for resurfacing.

A4, from 8.30am March 25 to 3.30pm March 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 Bathford Road Roundabout used as a diversion route for Wiltshire Council.

A46, from 9am to 3pm on March 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 southbound, Swainswick, lane closure for general maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
