Drivers in and around North Somerset will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that both of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 4pm July 30 to 5pm August 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 exit slip - two-way signals for electrical works.
And one more closure will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 9pm August 4 to 5am August 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 21 exit and entry slip roads lane closures for North Somerset Council works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
