Radstock Royal Mail customer service point opening and closing times have changed this week.

Matthew Newman, customer operations manager stated, “I wanted to reach out to as many of my customers as possible, as I understand how frustrating it is when you make the journey and we are closed. The change in times isn’t a local decision - All Royal Mail Offices nationally are also changing opening/closing times.

“The change in times will no doubt have an impact customers differently.

“We have lots of really good new services to make the customer experience even better. You can change the delivery date of packet, you can even nominate a safe place, or nominate a neighbour.

“For all customers that drop returns packets into our customer service point - We have a brilliant new service called consumer collection. For a small fee one of my postmen/women will collect the item from your doorstep. This is a very popular service and lots of you use it already.

“This doesn’t just include returns - this service is available for all items where postage is applied - We can even bring the label to attach to the item if you request one. Please visit www.royalmail.com/collection for more information.”

The new hours, since Monday, August 8th, are 8am-10am on Monday, 8am-2pm on Tuesday-Friday, 8am-12pm on Saturday, closed on Sunday.
