A FUN day hosted by The Hive Community Centre in Peasedown St John has helped raise £450 to support the charity’s youth work and community services in the community.

Children, families, and senior citizens came along on Saturday, June 20 to enjoy a range of activities from a free bouncy castle to a sing-along session by Goldies.

The Swallow Café provided hot dogs and cakes, with a variety of stalls to entertain the crowd.

The Hive chair of trustees, Joy Fraser, said, “It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying being at The Hive.

“The aim was for more people to be aware about everything that’s going on at The Hive, and we certainly achieved this.”
