Just in case you thought Paulton library was going to remain closed for some time, we hope to open the week beginning April 12th.This will be in line with Government guidelines.
We have continued to make changes to your library during lockdown – it has been reorganised to make browsing for books safer and more accessible for everybody.Meanwhile, many thanks to Kathleen Still, our Library Volunteers’ Co-ordinator, who has been getting our team of volunteers or P.A.Ls (Paulton Assistant Librarians), ready to return. We are also very grateful to Hilary Oram, at Paulton Parish Council, who has kept an eye on the building to make sure all is in place for when we re-open.
Another great Paulton lockdown innovation has been the launch of the village website (paulton communitywebsite.co.uk). This means that our library is now on the web with its own special section! Please keep an eye on it for library opening dates and other news and events.
Eventually, there will be information on opening hours, facilities on offer and becoming a P.A.L.
If you can’t wait that long to find out about joining us, then contact Hilary Oram at Paulton Parish Council: (01761) 413644 or email: Kathleen Still at: [email protected] to find out more. So watch this space. It won’t be long before we will be opening our doors to welcome you back to your library.
