The Wells Golf Club’s Men’s November Two Ball Texas Scramble was enjoyed by the large number that took part.

First, with an amazing nett 61, were Mike Metcalfe and Pascal Norman. Runners-up were Phil Spring and David Cunningham. Third-placed were Gary Nutt and Tim Taylor, followed by Simon Jackson and Pete Walker. In fact, only 1.75 points separated the first four pairs.

Abby Gray is playing in the European Junior Golf Tour- nament in Spain at Alcaidesa Links this week, in fact, her first round was on Saturday. She is eligible to play after winning the Regional Finals in August at Taunton & Pick- eridge. Her father, Terry, is caddying for her, and reports that there are strong winds at the moment!
