Timsbury Cricket Club's annual six-a-side tournament, sponsored by M. Clothier and Sons, and expertly organised by Greg Passingham, again proved a big success, with players from all three Saturday sides taking part.
The format this year was of a Round Robin with the top two teams going into a final.
Teams saw a great mix of youth and experience with younger members of the club giving a good account of themselves. The final saw a win for Clunes' Team, Captained by guest, David Hannah. The squad comprised of Hannah, Ben Curtis, Nathan Hawkins, George Brinkworth, Jesse Bishop and Lloyd Davies.
Umpires for the day, Roger Bird and Colin Weaver, judged Paul Cracknell as biggest six hitter of the competition.
The event was rounded off with a well-supported race night, run by Nige Day.
