The Annual Presentation of the Radstock and District Pool League was held on Friday, 16th May.

Once again, it was held at Westhill Club and the committee would like to express their thanks to the club for accommodating the evening and for allowing the league to use the venue for the monthly meetings during the season.

They would also like to thank Colin Bishop, Kevin Doe, Andy Smith and Rob Opie for refereeing competition finals and Prattens, Mardons, Westhill Club and The Crown, at Clapton, for staging them and, of course, Sheila Bull who once again provided a superb buffet for the presentation evening.

The entertainment was provided by the FB's Roadshow, ably assisted by Geoff Urch, and approximately ninety guests were in attendance.

The Division One title was a two-horse race towards the end and wasn't decided until the final match of the season when, even though both teams involved won, Westhill Club B secured the Division One title for the third year running, with the Railway Inn having to settle for the runners-up spot, despite leading for most of the campaign. However, they had the consolation of winning the Team Knockout Plate competition.

Division Two was also decided on the final night, with Paulton Underdogs, in their debut season, finishing on top, with Seven Stars A taking the runners-up spot, meaning an immediate return to the top division next year for them.

Westhill Club B achieved the double with victory in the Team Knockout Cup Final, with a win over Ston Easton in the final to go with the Division One title. As already mentioned, the Team Knockout Plate was won by the Railway Inn, with Stones Cross B achieving a very commendable runners-up spot.

The Singles Competition was won for the second year running by Steve Woodham, who has now won it four times in total. Another competition in which last year's winner retained his title was the Captains' Cup, with Mark Burr lifting the cup again and the very first winner of the brand new Over-50's Competition was Alan Moore.
