Oh dear! Apologies, but last week I just completely forgot to do my Norwest bit. Must be getting old, and the grey cells don’t work as well any more. I’m sure there are lots of you out there who will have something to say about that, but don’t forget, if you can do better . . .
Anyway, it would appear I’m not the only forgetful one at Norwest – Mary is also having problems with her memory. At the AGM, someone asked her to book them in for Christmas dinner on December 18th, on our draw evening, but she can’t remember who! If it was you, can you please give her a ring – or you’ll be going hungry!
The dinner will be served up at 5 p.m., so make sure you are there by 4.30 p.m. to get the drinks in and take your place. If you would just like to come for the draw, that will take place afterwards at 8 p.m. It will be the last social event at Norwest before Christmas, so come along, don those Christmas jumpers, or at least drape yourselves in a bit of tinsel, and share in the Christmas spirit – you never know, you might be lucky and carry off all the prizes.
