Are you feeling quizzical? Fed up with staying in on these cold winter evenings? Well, how about joining us on Saturday, February 25th for Mike and Kate’s Quiz Evening! You don’t need to be a genius, just come along for a fun evening.
There will be an American Supper and raffle, along with lots of laughter and not a little banter. So come along and join in the fun. It’s the usual time, 7.30 p.m. for an 8 p.m. start, and we’ll look forward to seeing you there.
Things are looking promising for our 2017 bowls season, as with still about seven weeks to go until the green opens, we have already had a prospective new member, Roger, come along to check us out at one of our Friday skittle evenings. If, like Roger, you are interested in having a go at bowling this
season, why don’t you drop in and see us for a very informal chat on a Friday evening, or, if you prefer, you could pop in to meet us on Saturday, 18th March for this year’s Subs Evening, although, being a new member, your first year will be
absolutely free. Alternatively, this year’s Open Evenings are on Monday 10th, Tuesday 11th, Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th of April when you are very welcome to come along and try your hand at bowling. At Norwest we are a friendly bunch and put the emphasis on enjoying our bowls, but that said, of course we like to win – that’s just the icing on the cake!
Presidents’ Day is Sunday, 23rd April this year, so get those woods out and polish them up – it’ll be here before you know it!
