With nothing to report on the bowls front and no social activity to speak of, I thought I’d take this opportunity to do a little begging!
Did some poor misguided friend or relation give you some thing for Christmas which you can’t stand? Have you started thinking about a spring turnout yet? Well, here’s a way to get rid of some of your unwanted items.
On Sunday, 4th June, Norwest is having its annual Fun Day and as usual, we will be having a tombola, the ideal place for those bits and pieces. So come on, have a look around, I’m sure you’ve got something that would fit the bill, or keep your eyes open for a bargain in the sales. If you have any suitable items, either give them to me or leave them at Norwest with my name on. Last year’s tombola was one of our best earners, so let’s see if we can better it this year!
