Last week was a busy time for Norwest – on Wednesday evening we hosted Bloomfield but lost by ten shots.

On Friday evening, in the charity game, we played Frome Park/Selwood which was an honorable draw; on the same evening we hosted the MMSL Final between Weston Bath and Street – it was a cracking game with good bowling from both teams and played in the right spirit. President, Dave Lake, presented the trophy to Street.

On Saturday we welcomed Alexandra Park, again a good game where we won by two shots.

Sunday was the annual Anne Wilkinson Memorial Trophy – four rinks battled it out on a lovely day. Kath, Gerald and Arron were the winners, with Penny, Steve and Dave runners-up.

A good day enjoyed by all and thanks to Paul and Lin for organising and doing the teas. MA
