PAULTON’S bowlers have shown some good form over the last couple of weeks.

On the 9th at home against Knowle in a hard fought game, Paulton men triumphed on two rinks and took a needed ten points.

The following Saturday at home again against Frome Park A in the county league, the team despite our best efforts on the three rinks, where the final scores do not do justice to the playing skills of the Paulton men, they came away with just two points from a win on one rink.

With just one more game to play this season Paulton lie in eighth place in the division but with a chance of gaining one step up.

The club has also been taking part in the local Floodlight Charity competition, where the proceeds of the games are donated to a designated local charity, this year being Nova Sports. The team has produced some excellent results so far, a greater than fifty shot win over Prattens held at Norwest’s grounds, for example. Keep up the form ladies and gents.
