Prattens have made an excellent start to the season by winning all three of their opening games. The games were all mixed friendlies at home to Severn Vale, Ashcombe and Keynsham.

In the first game against Severn Vale, Prattens won on three out of four rinks; the highest winning rink was Roy Harvey’s, which won by 31 shots to thirteen. Overall, Prattens won by 88 shots to 61.

In the second game against Ashcombe Park, Prattens won on two out of four rinks; the highest winning rink was Barrie Dando’s, which won by 24 shots to ten. Overall, Prattens won by 75 shots to 55.

In the third of the opening friendly games, Prattens played Keynsham. Prattens won on three out of four rinks and, for the second game of the weekend, the highest winning rink was Barrie Dando’s, which won by 21 shots to eleven. Overall, Prattens won by 75 shots to 73.

In the coming week, Prattens’ Ladies have a friendly at home to Bath Ladies Bowling Club; Prattens’ Men have a friendly at home to Bath Bowling Club, and there is a mixed friendly at home to Banwell.
