Prattens Bowls Club’s pre-season meeting will be held this Saturday, 25th March at 10.30 a.m. in the Clubhouse – members old and new are welcome.
In the meantime, work is progressing on the Green and in the Clubhouse in preparation for the opening of the Green on Saturday, 15th April (weather permitting!) President’s Day will be held on Saturday, 22nd April, which will be a fun afternoon of bowls followed by tea in the Clubhouse, hosted by our President, Robert Pemberton.
The first two games of the new season are mixed friendlies – the first will be on Wednesday, 19th April at home to Severn Vale and the second is on Sunday, 23rd April, away to Keynsham.
Club nights will again be held on Mondays at 6 p.m. All are welcome to come along and try the game of bowls, just wear flat shoes. Bowls can be borrowed and coaching is available free of charge. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Barrie or Pauline Dando on: 01761 412705.
