Prattens Bowls Club’s Green opened for the new outdoor season on Saturday, 15th April in the spring sunshine. On Sunday, 16th April, members enjoyed a fun afternoon of bowls followed by tea in the clubhouse.
The first game of the new season is a mixed friendly on Wednesday, 19th April, at home to Severn Vale. At the weekend, the club is holding President’s Day on Saturday, 22nd April and there is a mixed friendly away to Keynsham on Sunday, 23rd April, both beginning at 2.30 p.m.
Our Monday evening club nights will be held at 6 p.m. each week. Although we were delighted to welcome several new members at the start of this season, we would encourage others to come along on Monday evenings to try the game of bowls. Just wear flat shoes – bowls can be borrowed and coaching is available free of charge.
