Prattens’ Men are top of the Somerset County League East 2 and consolidated their position against Frome Park B by winning on all three rinks and overall by seventy shots to 43 and in doing so, gained all twelve League points.
In the Mid-Somerset League game against local rivals, Paulton, Prattens won on two rinks, drew on one and lost on one, which gained Prattens thirteen of the sixteen available League points.
Unfortunately, Prattens’ Ladies suffered defeats in both their Wild League games this week. At Wells, Prattens won on one rink, lost on two and lost overall, 45 shots to 65 thereby gaining two out of a possible twelve points. At Frome Selwood, Prattens lost on all three rinks and overall, 39 shots to 58.
In the Mixed Mid-Somerset League, Prattens also hold top slot, but at Shepton Mallet, Prattens won on two rinks, lost on one, but lost overall, fifty shots to 55, and so gained only four out of a possible twelve League points.
In the coming week, Prattens’ Ladies have a Friendly game at Home to Bloomfield (Bath); Prattens’ Men are Home to Frome Selwood in the Mid-Somerset League and Away to local rivals, Purnell C, in the Somerset County League. There is a Mixed Friendly Away to Paulton and a Home game against local rivals, Fosseway, in the Mixed Mid-Somerset League.
