The Youth section of Timsbury Cricket Club looked back on another enjoyable season when it held its annual Presentation Night in the clubroom. The Club Chairman, Austin Sage, said how delighted he was to see so many people at the function and thanked the coaches, managers, parents and groundsmen for all their support throughout the year. First team skipper, Steve Clothier, made the presentations.

The Under-11 Player of the Year was Connor Harris, and he was wished good luck with his Somerset trial later this month. The most improved player was Charlie Bamford, who had shown great commitment and dedication to training. Carla Passingham was thanked for scoring for the team.

In the Under-13s, Joe Kinnear was Player of the Season, while Nathan Dicks won the Most Improved Player Award. Joe and Rhys Davies both won ties for their respective half centuries. The side had been coached by Alex Young, who is moving to London in a career move. He was thanked for his big contribution to youth cricket and wished every success in the future.

The club was delighted that many of the Under-15s, under the guidance of Ellis Hancock, had played regular senior cricket this season. Zack Cox was Player of the Year and also won a tie for taking five wickets in a match. Sam Sparks also had a tie for making fifty, while Ben Beechener was the Most Improved Player.
