Medal Secretary, Pete Fitch, returned to action after a long-enforced absence and celebrated by helping to lift the Vic South Trophy in the Seniors’ section of Fosseway Golf Club.

He joined Cyril Blacker and Graham Edgell in the winter bowmaker, which they won with a stableford total of 91 points. In second place came Nick Foxwell, Pat Cray and Jeff Hodder with 88 points, with Terry Button, Martyn Cuer and Malcolm Tucker a further four points back.

The summer eclectic event, which sees medal scores for each month collated to record the best score for each hole, has now been completed, with Mike Ricketts winning the Fosseway

Seniors’ Trophy with the best gross score of 66. Edgell was

second on 68, with Blacker third, also on 68. Tucker achieved the best nett total of 47 to win the Eric Jones Cup. Blacker was second, two shots further back, with Barry Dugmore third with a score of fifty.
